Make More of Your Roof With Solar
From residential properties to hotels, guest accommodation, shops and other commercial premises, different buildings in Torquay can have very different electricity demands. Our role is to design a solar system around those demands. For a homeowner, the priority may be reducing household grid consumption and storing daytime generation for use in the evening. Solar can also work alongside EV charging solutions, helping homeowners consider their electricity generation and vehicle charging together.
For a business, the focus may be supplying a larger proportion of daytime demand directly from solar. We assess factors such as available roof space, shading, electricity consumption and your plans for the property before recommending a system.
Solar and Battery Storage Working Together
A solar PV system produces electricity whenever sufficient daylight is available, but that does not always mean your property needs all of that electricity at the same moment. Battery storage provides another option.
Suitable surplus generation can be stored and used later rather than immediately exported, allowing you to make greater use of the electricity produced by your own system. We can design new solar and battery systems together or assess whether battery storage can be incorporated into a suitable existing solar installation.

Solar for Torquay's Commercial Properties
For many commercial properties, energy use is highest while the business is open — exactly when solar panels are generating during daylight hours. This can make solar particularly relevant for businesses looking to reduce the electricity they purchase from the grid.
We provide commercial solar solutions for a variety of properties and will assess electricity consumption, roof capacity and operational needs before recommending a system. Morrell Group also provides commercial electrical services for businesses carrying out wider electrical improvements.
